2010 NZ Marine Industry Sailing Challenge

The 2010 NZ Marine Industry Sailing Challenge was sailed in an ideal 10 to 15 knot South Westerly breeze on the inner Waitemata.

Close racing soon after the start

Leading Industry players - Yachting Developments, Ovlov Marine / Volvo Penta, North Sails, Club Marine, Harken / Fosters, MGE Marine, Touch of Gloss, Hall Spars, Lloyd Stephenson Boat Builders, Brin Wilson Boats, Salthouse Boats, Adhesive Technologies and guests - took part in a closely contested race around Auckland harbour.

The 80 sailors included guests Rod Davis, Cameron Dunn - and Pete Montgomery on the rail instead of on the microphone.
