Entry Process for Overseas Crews

Expressions of Interest

To ensure you are kept up to date with information as it comes to hand for the regatta please submit an Expression of Interest for your club or crew by E-mail advice to MRX Yachting.

Charter Application

The Charter Application, Skipper Resume and Charter Deposit of NZ$1,000, (non-refundable once Charter Application accepted), must be received from Overseas entrants by 1st December 2016.

Apply early to ensure the success of your application

Up to 8 MRX yachts will be available for Overseas entries. MRX Yachts will be allocated to crews in the order in which they have submitted their Charter Application Form, Skipper Resume and Charter Deposit of NZ$1,000 and we have accepted them.

Charter Agreement

The balance of the Charter Fee, (balance NZ$1,400 - total NZ$2,400), and Charter Agreement, shall be received by 28th February 2017, unless extended by MRX Yachting.

Regatta Entry

Regatta entries must be completed by early March 2017 by sending the Regatta Entry Form to the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, (raceoffice@rnzys.org.nz) together with the entry fee of around NZ$200.

Race Documents and additional regatta information will be e-mailed and added to our web site as it comes to hand.

Entry Process for NZ Crews

Farr MRX National Championships will be used as trials to select the New Zealand entrants and will take place in March 2017
