NZ Marina Regatta

Awesome Day!

Results;

1. Tauranga Bridge Marina – Bruce and his crew sailed a perfect race !

2. Hobsonville Marina – great race!

3. Viaduct Marina-Manson Marine and Marathon Products jagged a third !

4. Westhaven – winner of the Underarm trophy for a minor crewing misdemeanor.

5. Boathaulage – winners of the Swashbuckling trophy for pirate like behavior on and off the course

6. Bayswater Marina - screwed up again Kenny ensured this team got the Screwmanship award.

7. Chaffers Marina – bloody good show ! Great effort to come all the way from Wellington and sailed a nice race. Recipient of the Crewmanship award

8. Halfmoon Bay Marina – winners of the Seamanship award. Normally river sailors these guys did a fantastic job adapting to the open water conditions we have on the harbour.

9. The Dick’s of the day were once again unstoppable in their quest to take this trophy home.

10. Bellingham Marine – took out the Biggest Dog

11. Vessel Management Services – great effort for the first regatta and we hope you will come and show us the way next year. Sportsmanship award 

The fleet had not breakdowns, thanks to Tom Macky providing his boats in top condition. The breeze was perfect for the day at 10 to 15 knots.
